Last Updated: 10/15/14 (Updates in Cyan)

Amarahlee wishes to develop and run a role play story based around her character. This post provides information about the storyline and how it links to Nost Amor.

Timeline:

[date]: Saranique attempts to sway Diorn to evil using enchanted rune stones. Diorn escapes and the rune stones become lost somewhere in the Trollshaws.

[date]: Now slowly coming to his senses but suffering from wounds received during his escape, Diorn reaches the Ford of the Bruinen. By chance, he meets a healer named Sophyiwen and a warden named Gilglir. The healer applies a field dressing to Diorn and advises he make quick journey to Imladris for proper treatment. Gilglir escorts Diorn to Rivendell.

[date]: While traveling through the Trollshaws, Sareare accidentally discovers Saranique's rune stones. Not knowing their function or history, she keeps them as an item of scholarly interest.

[date]: Now healed and escorted by a guard from Nos Amor, Diorn returns to the Ford of the Bruinen to seek Saranique's enchanted rune stones. He chances upon both Sareare and Sophyriwen at the crossing. Diorn convinces Sareare to accompany him to Rivendell, take rubbings of the enchanted stones, and then relinquish them.

[date]: Amarahlee, Galoniel, and Sophyriwen meet at the Ford of the Bruinen.
a) A giant eagle brings word to Amarahlee that an old friend seeks her somewhere in the Bree Lands. Sophyriwen provides Amarahlee with an invitation to her home in the Shire.
b) Galaoniel introduces herself and offers her lineage, including what little she knows of her father. Sophyriwen invites Galoniel to speak with her aunt, an ancient elf who may have insight into Galoniel's heritage.
c) Sophyriwen offers news of a murder at Ost Guruth, a monster that may stalk the Trollshaws, and the subsequent disappearance of a maid from that fort. After one month of seaching, Sophyriwen cannot find any trace of the missing woman.

10/9/14 (Scripted Event): Having made the long trip over the Misty Mountains from Rivendell to Lorien, Master Diorn takes up residence at his ancestral flet, there to recover from events of the previous two months.

10/12/14 (Scripted Event): While reciting tales and poems at a local inn, Lady Sophyriwen receives word that a young woman of the Bree Lands went missing from her farm perhaps two days ago. Locals believe she was taken by a troll. Very late that evening, Lady Sophyriwen sends the Lady Megarha to Bree Town to investigate.

10/13/14 (Scripted Event): Lady Megarha and Lady Ariathne reach Bree Town and make inquiries concerning the missing woman. At a nearby farm, Lady Megarha confirms that a young maid disappeared on the evening of the 10th. That evening, a farm hand saw something, "terrible, shambling in the darkness", and a strong smell of vegetable decay lingers along a path leading to a nearby ruin. Lady Ariathne tracks the creature to the ruin, where Lady Megarha discovers a very old Book of Marriages, a log of elven composition recording marriages amongst those people. One of the local farmers tells the ladies that scholars from Bree Town have a number of such books, all recovered from nearby ruins. The ladies return to Belethil Manor with the book.

10/14/14 (Scripted Event): Lady Sophyriwen and her younger sister determine that the book recovered by Lady Megarha largely concerns marriages amongst elves belonging to the Nost Amor. Recalling her meeting with Master Diorn along the Bruinen, Lady Sophyriwen dispatches one of her handmaidens to Rivendell with the book, to make gift of it to Nost Amor.

10/15/14 (Scripted Event): Lady Saebrial arrives in Rivendell with the Book of Marriages and delivers it to the Nost Amor.

[Date] (Proposed Role Play Event): [Official] of Nost Amor decides to send [Scholar], a scholar of the house, to Bree Town, there to visit the Scholar's Stair and seek information regarding books of elven history discovered in the nearby area.

[Date] (Proposed Role Play Event): [Official] of Nost Amor recruits Amarahlee as an escort for [Scholar].

[Date] (Proposed Role Play Event): Amarahlee and [Scholar] set out for Bree Town. [Villian], a bandit operating in the Bree Lands, intercepts and kidnaps the two elves.

NOTES
1) Dates in brackets serve as place holders until I determine when an event took place. The Timeline uses real time dates, as attempting to build such a document using "fantasy time" quickly becomes an impossible exercise in logistics.
2) Names in brackets serve as place holders until an actual character assumes the specified role.
3) As of 10/8/14, Miss Lomeyen wishes all role play involving her "enchanted rune stones" terminated. I adamantly refuse to rewrite events that already occurred in role play, but rewrote future events in the Timeline to exclude Miss Lomeyen's characters and contrivances.

Nice write up. I am going to suggest that Diorn has by now returned to Lothlorien where he has spent most of his life. Not to retreat, but to lick his wounds (and perhaps give us reason to rp elsewhere). Enter Daerdinotawar (my Champion), still invested in M.-earth and still employing use of his blades.

Thank you for the summary too. I will help out when/however I can. Do we have an eta on RP dates for this plot?

Diorn, I added an event concerning Master Diorn's arrival in Lorien. Please let me know if you want that entry expanded, or other events placed in the Timeline.

Aemthalion, Amarahlee must decide when to role play the last three proposed events. Lomeyen's insistence Nost Amor not use her "Enchanted Rune Stones" forced me to rewrite some of the back story. With that done, all interested parties may proceed.

Last week, Lomeyen insisted that members of Nost Amor stop using all items of her creation. I adamantly refuse to rewrite history for anyone, but have steered future events in a new direction that do not involve her characters or contrivances.

My new invention, the Book of Marriages, belongs to the kinship and may contain anything members need to help drive forward future role play. For reference, it was common practice in the Middle Ages for scribes to record marriages in a simple log book format. Those books later became very important for establishing family lineages and ancestry. Other interesting pieces of information often find their way onto the pages of such books. As such, this Book of Marriages may reveal just about anything to elicit some future role play drama. :)
